I have developed my bus advert by making improvements to it by altering the layout of it. Here is the original bus advert I created which advertises the band's newest single.
From here I realised an area for improvement which is included the name of the band. This is important for the audience to know because they may not be able to recognise the single from just the name and the image of the band. Therefore including all of the relevant information for this advert is important.
After adding the name of the band, I felt that the name of the song should be larger than the name of the band because it’s their single which is being promoted. Therefore I changed the layout so that 'Kings of Leon' is smaller than the name. From this I centered this and developed the following advert. I also decided on the right hand side of the image the information about where the single is available should be set out different and because I have removed the image of the single from the left hand side, I need to re-arrange the right hand side so that this image can be included.
From here I added a stroke to the image to make it stand out on the bus advert and section it off from the rest of the content. I added the image of the single on the right hand side and re-arranged the content so that I could include the HMV logo and the single image.

Here I have changed the words 'OUT NOW' to 'AVAILABLE' because this is improved grammar and makes more sense to the audience.
