Today I continued editing our music video. I imported the footage for the end shot of our video and by cutting it down and added a dip to black fade and a black screen, I was able to complete this finishing shot.
In addition, I also imported and edited many shots from our studio footage in order to create the band shots during the music video. I cut them to used the speed/duration tool in order to lip sync the miming with the song. I also matched the different parts of our band playing to the music, for example when the drum kicks in for the chorus I have edited a shot of the drummer hitting the symbol to match these two elements.
I also imported the footage from the re-shoot that me and Kate did over the half term. These include the over the shoulder shots of our girl model when she is receiving texts during the video to show people dropping out of coming to London with her. I added these in and cut them down in two parts of the video - model sitting on train and sitting on bench at Embankment.
Plus, for one of the shots that we have recently editied I realised the zoom into our girl model sitting on the bench is too quick and is at a quicker speed than the song. Therefore I cut the shot into two parts and used the speed/duration tool to slow down the second part in order to match it with the speed of the song.
